Tai Dinh
Co-Founder & Managing Partner, GovernmentContractors.com | Formerly Verizon
I build go-to-market and account-based marketing programs for complex B2B and public sector buyers. At Verizon, I built 1:1 and 1:few ABM programs, launched new GTM motions, and developed partner channels that helped carry them into market across Federal, SLED and Public Safety. Now I'm building what's next.
About
GTM work built for markets that do not forgive shortcuts
I built my career at Verizon, most recently as Associate Director of Public Sector Segment Marketing, leading go to market for federal, state, local, and public safety customers. That meant building ABM programs from a cold intent signal to a closed booking, running demand generation for a buyer who reads every word of an RFP, and negotiating partner programs that had to work across fourteen states and a dozen legal reviews.
The numbers: $140M+ in qualified pipeline, $50.1M+ in bookings, a $100M GovCloud forecast pipeline built around a new FedRAMP milestone, and a partner program that activated 5,000+ devices a year.
Today I run GovernmentContractors.com, advising companies on positioning, buyer intelligence and go-to-market strategy for government and regulated markets. I'm also exploring my next marketing leadership opportunity where I can build, scale and connect strategy directly to revenue.

Verizon Government Cloud: SD-WAN Launch
Challenge. Federal agencies were under mandate to retire legacy TDM and copper infrastructure, but most lacked the in-house expertise to manage the security and compliance risk of a cloud transition, and Verizon had no federal GovCloud SD-WAN offer to meet the need.
Positioning. Built the narrative around a compliance-first, expert-guided path to modernization: a FedRAMP High Ready Government Cloud Platform paired with a managed SD-WAN SaaS solution, so agencies get Verizon's audited security posture instead of building that capability in-house.
Campaign architecture. Built the launch content stack, including a federal SD-WAN whitepaper, an ATO sponsorship guide walking agencies through the 6 to 9 month FedRAMP High authorization process, a solution brief, and direct outreach to federal IT decision makers.
Result. $100M TCV forecast pipeline built around the FedRAMP milestone, tied to Verizon's national Government Cloud-Managed SD-WAN launch in April 2025.
US Navy: Account-Based Marketing
Naval bases were running on decades-old infrastructure, and Verizon was only eligible to bid as a subcontractor. Built a dedicated ABM program pairing a Navy-specific landing page with AFCEA West and IndoPac event presence, GovCIO thought leadership, and direct outreach to Navy decision makers. The program opened doors to senior Navy leaders, including the Navy's CIO, and influenced $16M in Navy ABM bookings. A separate intent driven play, built on the same Intentsify signal infrastructure, accelerated a $36M DoD opportunity.
City of Houston: Serving Houston Together
Houston had a wireless RFP on the table and needed a partner who could speak to public safety readiness ahead of hurricane season. Mapped 90 executives across city government, built account-specific content, hosted a public safety roundtable, and featured four small and woman-owned partner portfolios as part of Verizon's D&I commitment. Verizon won the RFP.
Emergency Connectivity Fund
The FCC opened a $7.17B fund for schools, libraries, and tribal communities, and most eligible institutions did not know the money existed. Built a multi-touch email journey across three segments and four decision-maker scenarios, backed by a dedicated landing page, paid social, webinars, and always-on sales enablement. Social conversion ran 32% against an 11.63% benchmark.
HHS: Partnering for a Healthy People
HHS agencies, CDC, CMS, NIH, DHA, and VA, were mid-modernization with no clear Verizon presence in the conversation. Served as platinum sponsor at the GovCIO Health IT Summit, built the verizon.com/hhs landing page and content journey, and developed Digital Citizen Engagement and Self-Service thought leadership tied to EHR, interoperability, AI, and Zero Trust priorities. Produced the Talking Tech with Rose webinar series on BrightTALK to extend that thought leadership to a broader federal audience.
NASPO ValuePoint
Verizon's base on the NASPO cooperative contract needed to migrate to a new agreement before competitors could pick off accounts. Built an awareness and retention campaign for IT decision makers and procurement officers: targeted digital advertising, a dedicated landing page, thought leadership tied to the new contract, and a migration-focused demand gen push. Result: 2M lines retained and a 5% incremental sales lift.
